THOUGHT they were excellent veterinarians until now! I took my cat there in April for a routine checkup along with an eye infection going on. When they weighed my cat, I told them that she was 2 pounds less than her prime weight and asked for a minimum of a thyroid test and was told testing wasn’t necessary. Upon moving out of state and finding a new vet, he recommended a mini-screen blood work up on my cat and it was found that she has kidney disease with hypertension. Thank goodness the kidney damage is minimal and she is being treated with medication. This blood work up is something Gallatin Veterinary Hospital should have recommended. I feel so bad that my cat has suffered for 6+ months with this condition because Gallatin Veterinary Hospital staff didn’t do what they SHOULD HAVE DONE! I hope it was just a "got one of the bad vets" at this clinic experience. |
