This was our first experience with a DIY dog wash. My dog doesn’t do well at a traditional groomer and bathing her at home is a nightmare for my bathroom and my back! The staff was incredibly nice and explained the shampoo/conditioner choices. They showed me around the wash area and brought me a basket with everything I’d need. My dog wasn’t super thrilled but quickly calmed down when I used their lather brush, she loved the back scratch and belly scratch that it provided! They have a separate room for their dryers. My dog was not a fan of the noise so the staff brought me a set of ear muffs which helped to calm her down long enough to just dry the dripping of her coat. The cost was way cheaper than I was expecting as well. I’ve tried taking my dog to a different grooming salon and they were unable to complete her bath but still charged me $60. I paid $17 today to do it myself. I bought my dog a few of Pets Earth homemade treats and she was thrilled! We will certainly be going back! |
