| User Comment | I have a negative experience with the employees every time I come to this store. I always try to be the nicest I can to everyone, and I have sympathy for those in retail because I’ve worked retail/customer service for 5+ years so I know how rude customers can be. I guess today just took the icing off the cake. I found board books for my one year old in the clearance section. The sign clearly says the price will be taken down 50% at the register. That’s awesome! I don’t get to buy my baby books enough because they’re so expensive so I found some I wanted and brought them to the register. The cashier said that they were full price and left overs from Halloween- which didn’t make any sense. I assured her that they were in the Valentines clearance bins and that there were multiple of the same book there. She said there wasn’t anything she could do, and that it was full price or I wasn’t getting them. So I went to customer services after that transaction to see if they could honor their signage. The SAME cashier followed me over to customer services and “helped “ me by telling me the same thing, and acted like I was burdening her. Very disappointed. I don’t know how it would hurt Walmart by honoring their own clearance signs. Taking $4 off two books wouldn’t hurt Walmart at all, but it would have meant the world to my daughter and I. I try to avoid Walmart as much as possible now or drive a little bit further to go to a better one. |
